Ponera Coarctata - Rare

Ponera coarctata is a small species which has small colonies. Their workers are often found in the nests of Lasius Flavus and Niger. They are a non agressive species (to other ants) which typically eat only insects. 

 

With colonies of up to 3 queens, the largest reported worker count is documented around 40 to 80 workers.
